Organization settings and idle limit
Change your organization's name, language and time zone, and set an idle limit of 5 to 60 minutes after which members confirm it's them again.

Owners and Admins can change the organization's general settings. Only the Owner can change the idle limit. Every change is recorded.
Change the name, language or time zone
- Open the organization's Settings page.
- Under General, change the Organization name, the Language or the Time zone.
- Select Save changes.
The language is used for emails to people you invite who don't have an account yet. The time zone is used for dates in the organization's reports and history.
Set the idle limit
The idle limit is how long a member can be inactive before they confirm it's them again to open this organization. It can be from 5 to 60 minutes, and it is 60 by default.
- On the Settings page, under Security, enter a number of minutes in Idle limit (minutes).
- Select Save idle limit and confirm it's you with a passkey.
Every Owner and Admin is emailed about the change. A shorter limit suits shared devices, such as a tablet in a warehouse.
What members see after the idle limit
The member stays signed in, but the organization shows Confirm it's you to continue. One confirmation with a passkey or authenticator app opens it again. Other organizations with longer limits keep working. LightInventory's own 60-minute sign-out after inactivity still applies everywhere.
