How we handle your waitlist email
What happens to the email address you give us for the LightInventory waitlist, who processes it, how long we keep it and how to remove it.
Last updated October 29, 2026
This notice covers only the LightInventory waitlist. The full privacy policy for the product will be published before launch.
What we collect and why
- Your email address and the language of the page you signed up on. We use them for one purpose: to email you about LightInventory, starting with early access. We do not sell your address or share it with anyone for their own use.
- Nothing is saved until you confirm. After you submit the form we send one email with a confirmation link. Your address joins the list only when you click it. If you never click it, the address is not added.
- Bot check. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots. It does not show you puzzles.
We rely on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who processes it
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Resend | Sends the confirmation email and our updates, and stores the confirmed list |
| Cloudflare | Runs the bot check on the form and forwards emails sent to support@lightinventory.com |
| Hosts the inbox that receives those forwarded emails | |
| Vercel | Hosts the website that receives the form |
These providers act on our instructions. Some of them are based outside the UK and the EU.
How long we keep it
We keep a confirmed address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Our email provider keeps delivery logs, such as the confirmation email, for a limited period.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Access or deletion: write to support@lightinventory.com and we will answer within one month.
- Complaints: you can also contact your data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK.
