# Approver role

> Approvers record stock and review other people's change requests. They can never approve their own request.

Approvers do the same daily work as Editors in every location, and they review requests when your organization uses [approvals](/help/team-and-roles/approvals).

## What an Approver can do

- View all items, stock and history, and record movements in every location.
- Edit items and prices.
- Approve or reject other people's requests, with a comment.
- Decide what happens to changes made directly in the Sheet, under your approval policy.
- Revert a single entry.
- Export history and stock.

## What an Approver can't do

- Approve their own request.
- Revert many entries at once.
- Manage members or billing.
