# Switch between organizations

> If you belong to more than one LightInventory organization, use the organization menu in the header to move between them. Each tab can show a different one.

You can belong to several organizations, with a different role in each. The organization menu in the header shows which one you are in and lets you move to another.

## Switch

1. In the header, open the **Organization** menu.
2. Select the organization you want to open.

To see every organization you belong to, select **All organizations**.

## Good to know

- The organization is part of the page address, so you can bookmark it, and each browser tab can show a different organization.
- Your role, and what you can see, is checked again for every organization you open.
- Removing you from one organization does not affect your account or your other organizations.
