# Invite people to your organization

> Owners and Admins invite people by email. The link works once, for 72 hours, and only for the address it was sent to.

Owners and Admins can invite people. You can give a role below your own: the Owner can invite Admins, and Admins can invite Approvers, Editors and Viewers.

## Send an invitation

1. Open the organization's **Members** page and select **Invite a member**.
2. Enter the person's email address. They create an account or sign in with this address.
3. Choose a role. See [Team and roles](/help/team-and-roles) for what each role can do.
4. Select **Send invitation** and confirm it's you with a passkey.

We email the invitation link. It works once, for 72 hours, and only for that email address. Pending invitations appear on the **Members** page with their expiry time.

Inviting someone as an Admin needs a passkey you have had for at least 24 hours. See [Why am I asked for a passkey?](/help/organizations/why-a-passkey).

## Revoke an invitation

On the **Members** page, find the invitation under pending invitations, select **Revoke** and confirm. The link stops working at once. You can invite the person again later.

## If the invitation doesn't arrive

- Ask the person to check their spam or junk folder.
- Check the address. If it is wrong, revoke the invitation and send a new one.
- If the link expired, send a new invitation.
